Dear Neighbors and Friends of Island Falls,

We’re writing to share an update regarding our ongoing efforts to purchase the parcel of town-owned land adjacent to our property. Unfortunately, we’ve received a formal reversal from the Town Selectboard, who have decided not to proceed with the sale.

While we’re disappointed by this outcome, it follows a prolonged period of uncertainty and shifting responses. We’ve decided to step away from further engagement on this matter for now, as the process has become increasingly discouraging.

That said, we remain deeply committed to our vision and to contributing positively to Island Falls. We believe this town would benefit greatly from the growth, energy, and opportunity that businesses like ours bring. We continue to hope that future efforts—by us or others—will be met with greater collaboration and shared enthusiasm.
